Oval frame showing in top center an escutcheon with Venus head and her girdle. Lambrequins hang at the bottom, the central one shows a pair of doves on globe under a star. A pair of torches. At left rises a bough of myrtle. Much of the decoration of the right half is not shown. Inscribed in frame, in graphite, upper left: VICTRIX; upper center: VENUS VICTRIX; in pen and brown ink, top center: Venus Victrix; upper right: a ceinture de Ven(us)/ et ses attributs, at left edge: ...rithe (?); verso: dotted oval.
