Design for Memorial Window

Colour design for a stained glass window featuring Chaplain Major the Rev.S.S. Knapp, who stands before an altar blessing troops from the 2nd Battalion, Irish Guards, with burning buildings in the background. Base and top include saints and banners, as well as a badge of the Irish Guards at the top tracery. Rev. Knapp died of wounds received at Boesinghe, Flanders on 1 August 1917.
