Plate showing two elongated border designs consisting of cartouches decorated with garlands, and pairs of ovals with dates of the history of the world and the years before the birth of Christ. Left cartouche: vertical arrangement of vase, garlands, acanthus leaves, two female figures and one child figure; inscribed in ovals, upper left: 2800; upper right: 1204; lower left: 2000; lower right: 1104. Right cartouche: cornice at top, below inscribed in a square, left: Ans/du/Monde; right: Ans/avant/J. Christ; below inscriptions, shell motif, vase, garlands; six ovals below with inscriptions, upper left: 2600; upper right: 4400; central left: 2700; central right: 1300; lower left: 2800; lower right: 1204.
