Dessert plate

Picasso pottery is an illustration of the thesis that the word “late” does not exist for a creative person. Picasso became interested in new technology when he was in his 60s. The catalyst for a new passion was his visit to the annual ceramics exhibition in the small French town of Vallauris on July 21, 1946. Exactly here he met the authors of the works - Suzanne and Georges Rami, and then he began to work closely with ceramics. The artist turned ceramics into a canvas for his “fast” paintings. The drawings on the dishes from Picasso turned out to be abstract, pointedly unfinished, and some of them resembled sketches of his famous works.
