The "Egyptian" carriage was originally built for the carnival of 1819 on the orders of Carlo Felice di Savoia, Duke of Genevese, and offered to his wife Maria
Christina of Bourbon. Later the original ivory-colored backgrounds were painted in black and the car was used for solemn transport
funeral. The carriage decorated in the "Egyptian" style is intended to represent the temple of the goddess Isis. "
