The carriage called "Telemachus" was produced in 1817 for the wedding of Charles Albert, Prince of Carignano with Maria Theresa of Habsburg Lorraine. It was painted by the court painter Giovanni Vacca with the Stories of Telemachus's journey. It derives from a project conceived and created by the architect and decorator Giacomo Pregliasco, helped by a group of top-level artists including Bonzanigo for the carvings and Dughet for the beautiful bronzes.
