The rectangular box is in rosewood with clear threads; along the edge of the lid, decorated with the "ML" brass monogram surmounted by a crown, there's an inlaid geometric motif, while a clear diamond-shaped inlay frames the lock. The inside of the lid hides a cardboard pocket, externally covered in red Moroccan leather, which houses a small rectangular ivory palette. In the inside, the box has eight visible and other hidden compartments. The objects scattered in the showcase are also part of the contents of the box.
