The Fountain of the Bathers or of Caserta is a large circular basin with, in the center, the 18th century sculptural group of the Bathers, coming from the Royal Palace of Caserta, recomposed by Giulio Monteverde, favorite sculptor of the sovereigns. The group was oriented towards the palace, so that Queen Margaret could enjoy the view from the windows of her apartment.
