Dulwich Outdoor Gallery
London, United Kingdom

Many of the figures on these hoardings are based on those in ‘The Triumph of David’ by Nicholas Poussin, painted in 1628 and hanging round the corner in Dulwich Picture Gallery. Poussin has painted a realistic depiction of a severed head dripping with blood, while RUN has interpreted it as a carnival head with ribbons. More suitable for family viewing.
