Two commemorative coins on the public referendum of 13 January 1935 where the population of the Saarland decided in favour of the reintegration into the German Reich. The "Redener Hannes" surrounded by the propaganda slogan "Deutsch ist die Saar immerdar" is portrayed on the front. The back shows a stylized representation of the Saar region with the inscription "National referendum in the Saar region, 13/1/1935".
