Dhokra Craft in Jharkhand: Process

After the final firing, the mould is broken and the solidified Dhokra metal object is retrieved. The Dhokra objects undergoes grinding which ensures that there is no trace of mud of tar left. It is a process which is manually done by the artisans themselves.
