The Saxon White Diamond - a square brilliant cut diamond of 194.5 diamond grains (49.84 ct) and the largest diamond in the Green Vault - is inserted into the upper part of the shoulder strap. Augustus the Strong acquired the diamond on February 1, 1728 from the Hamburg jeweler Moses Abraham for 200.000 thaler or two tons of gold.
