When Diego and Frida were married in San Francisco, Frida set down some rules: Diego had to pay half of the household expenses, they would not have a sexual relationship, and they would live in the Blue House in Coyoacán. But Diego had his studio in San Ángel and would go there punctually every day, sometimes accompanied by Frida.
