Harold Offeh used the act of wax rubbing to explore the architecture of the unit with service users. The activity was an aid for discussing their experience of the ward and their immediate environment. Offeh used the patterns they created, which are based on surface rubbings of bricks, manhole covers and radiators, to transform the Dining Room with a multi layered hand painted mural.
