Dish made of parcel-gilt silver with a central motif depicting a seated man and the inscription “Aron”. The dish was made in Augsburg in the late 17th Century, the period during which Skokloster castle was constructed. It is a typical example of an object demonstrating the wealth and refined taste of its owner. It was given to the Lord of the Manor Magnus Brahe by King Charles XIV John, in the 1840’s.
