Based in Bangalore, India, Disha became a climate justice activist after seeing how her family was impacted by the water crisis. She founded the Indian branch of the Fridays for Future network.

Disha is passionate about ensuring that voices from the Most Affected People and Areas (MAPA) are represented in climate conversations and negotiations.

Disha helps deliver Generation Hope, an annual programme run by the Natural History Museum, London, that delves into the challenges of and solutions to the planetary emergency.
