In the 1960, PEZ showcased some unusual products. The company produced rare candy flavors such as Flowers and Chlorphyll, introduced the PEZ Boy, and continued to manufacture a PEZ Candy Shooter Gun. In 1956, the company introduced the first PEZ gun. The parenting community failed to see the appeal of permitting their children to put the barrel of the shooter in their mouths to shot PEZ candies into the back of their throats.
