DMZ and CCZ in 2021

The DMZ in Cheorwon and the Civilian Control Zone (CCZ) north of the Civilian Control Line as seen in Google Earth. The DMZ area where vegetation has been restored and the CCZ area developed as agricultural land are clearly distinguished. There were 10 villages in the area north of the Civil Control Line, but only 4 villages remained to the north of the Civil Control Line.
