Dog spacesuit

To study the potential medical and physiological impacts of Space voyaging, in the ‘50s and in the ‘60s different kind of animals were used. As for Laika, the first dog and living creature to orbit around the Earth, these test animals were often sacrificed. This spacesuit was realised by the Moscow Institute for Biomedical Problems for experiments involving small dogs.
