American doll artist Fawn Zeller undertook doll making after World War II and created figures of the Eisenhowers, and characters from the "Wizard of Oz." Her model of Elizabeth II at her 1953 coronation, for example, replicated the queen's outfit down to the tiniest detail, including the jewels of 17th-century crown and the sovereign's org and cross.
