Doll:Bebe Louvre

The Jumeau doll company made and marked some dolls to sell exclusively in department stores. Jumeau made this doll, marked on the back of the head "B 9 L," for sale in the Au Louvre department store in Paris. The boxes for the Bebe Lourve assured the buyer of a quality product: "This bebe is of superior construction, a producet of the premier French manufacturing facility." Then, it added this curious claim: "Bebe Lourve is patterned on nature."
