Doll:Ever After High | Apple White

Dolls in Mattel's 2013 Ever After High line represent the sons or daughters of well-known fairy tale characters. Raven Queen, for example is the daughter of the wicked queen of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Apple White is the daughter of Snow White and the prince who rescued her. The line is similar to Monster High dolls in that it presents many characters to collect all of which have distinctive personalities and the traditional teen concerns of self-esteem, beauty, and popularity. The back story on the Ever After personalities assigns each character to one of two school cliques--the Royals who are content with their futures (like Apple White) in which they will live happily ever after and the Rebels who intend to change their less than happy destinies (like Raven Queen). A series of books, a web site, and several webisodes detail the Ever After stories and characters.
