This ceramic doll head was recovered from a site in Toronto, excavated in 2007 by Archaeological Services Inc. (ASI). The excavation documented the changing landscape on Adelaide Street from a semi rural, upper middle-class range of single-family homes to an urban, working class enclave of boarding houses and commercial businesses by the early twentieth century. Among the 69,894 artifacts recovered, several were toys and game related items, including different doll parts such as 6 complete doll heads.
