It is unusual to find a Jumeau doll such as this one with a head made of wood. Her eyebrows and lips are crudely painted, but her blue glass eyes are beautiful French paperweight eyes. “The Jumeau Doll” written by Margaret Whitton and published by The Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum in 1980 provides a comprehensive overview of Jumeau and The Strong’s Jumeau collection.
