Jumeau mastered new methods of marketing, advertising, and production and applied them to doll manufacture. Jumeau b퀌�b퀌�s were considered the pinnacle of the French doll trade, and these dolls were sought after all over the world for their beautiful faces and their exquisite clothing. This particular doll, a "Tete Jumeau," bears the name on the back of its head. Jumeau patented the name in 1886.
