Doll:Mitzi

Taking note of the phenomenal success of Mattel's Barbie, the Ideal Toy company offered its Mitzi doll in 1961. Like Barbie, Mitzi stood just 11.5 inch tall, and also like Barbie, Mitzi had an extensive wardrobe for her many activities. Ideal offered Mitzi for just a short while. When Ideal introduced Tammy, a more wholesome-looking competitor to Barbie in 1962, Mitzi was no long available.
