Patti Playpal was manufactured by Ideal from 1959 until 1962 and was designed to be a companion doll to girls about 3 years old. At 35-inches tall, the doll was made to be the same size as her owner, and little girls were encouraged to share their clothes with their Playpal. Made of a light-weight plastic, Patti Playpal was easy to carry in spite of her size.
