Doll:Sweet Sydney

After the election of President Barack Obama in November of 2008, the Ty Corporation made two dolls in the likeness of the first daughters. Originally named Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia, the dolls received criticism from the First Lady and the President for capitalizing on their children. Ty eventually manufactured the dolls but rebranded them under the names of Sweet Sydney and Marvelous Mariah--still looking considerably like the Obama girls.
