Wooden dolls with rag skirts. They are just a piece of pole with a notch cut for the neck and waist. They are made by the mothers of the children who play with them and are used by children of both sexes. They are made from the wood of the MUGAMBO tree and they say that, as far back as they remember, such dolls have been made for children.
