Dom João VI

Portrait of a man, identified as Dom João VI, on a dark background, half body turned to the left. White hair with long sideburns, arched eyebrows, wide eyes, flushed cheeks and half-open mouth with bared teeth. He wears a dark blue uniform with golden branches and epaulettes with applications of royal weapons, vest and white pants. The Golden Fleece hangs around his neck, on his chest six commendations and a red, white and green band. Wrapping the body and falling from the right shoulder, red mantle with ermine and branches, armillary sphere and golden castles. Put your left hand on a red and gold crown with pearly thread, placed on top of a cushion with tassels, next to a stick, resting on a piece of furniture. Golden wood frame.
