"Don Carlos" by Schiller; director: Emil Chaberski, scenery and costumes: Karol Frycz; Ludwik Solski (King Philip II). Ludwik Solski (1855–1954) – Polish actor, director, one of the heads of the National Theatre in the interwar period. As an actor, he impressed with his comprehensive specialization and stylistic diversity, but his roles in the realistic repertoire won him the greatest renown. A person of phenomenal vitality, he appeared on stage for the last time six months before his death.
