Double-chamber whistling bottles were essential paraphernalia in pre-Hispanic religious rituals. They were manufactured in every time and in very many cultural groups. In the case of this extraordinary example, the scene sculpted on one of the two chambers shows two high-rank characters engaging in a ritual activity.
