Obverse: Female head with streaming hair, inclined to the left, wearing sphendone, earrings and necklace (copied from Arethusa of Kimon coins of Syracuse). Behind her head is an inscription in Aramaic. Reverse: Bearded male head, possibly Ares, wearing a chlamys fastened around his neck and a crested Athenian helmet decorated with a floral scroll. Three olive leaves decorate the front of the helmet.
