Described in an inventory as Eucharistic dove, that cannot be the function of the object, because it has not the characteristic of the eucharistic object (a location for the collocation of the host). It is instead a container for liquids, empty in the inside and has got two openings: one on the back for filling, and one in the beak for pouring the liquid. It has a sort of grip found in the shoot that from the beak goes to the back. On the surface the feathers and the shoot are engraved on the chest. The object more similar to this one is the ewer of the Cologne cathedral, although the manifacturing is different.
