Composition in black and white. Contour lines, firm strokes, angles and meandering. Dragon representation like a salamander occupying the lateral margins on the left, top and on the right side of the support. The animal is surrounding poem handwritten in black pen of Nicolas Guillen, who is at the center of the stand. The animal is on the right in front, looking up out of the mouth, enormous tongue. The tail is almost three times larger than the animal's body, and occupies the entire top edge and side edge of the on the left support. The animal suggests having thick, rough and scaly skin, seeing yourself on the back kind of fin.
