Representation of the Draupadi Vastraharan episode of the literary epic Mahabharata. Draupadi, wife of the five Pandavas, was placed as a bet between them and their rival cousins, the Kauravas. She is humiliated before the demand for her nudity in a popular assembly. God Krishna hears her call for help and, in the face of the inaction of her five husbands, the deity intervenes making Drapaudi’s sari of infinite length. In this episode, the objectification of the female body is quite clear. Draupadi becomes a bargaining chip in the games of power played by the rival male characters.
