Drawing of House and Garden

A charming pencil drawing on card of a small house and garden; the walls and porch of the house are covered with trellis which supports climbing plants. In front of the house there are three curved flower beds filled with plants and shrubs and the house is surrounded by a variety of trees. On the lawn there are a couple of plant containers. The drawing is dated in the left corner ‘1836’ but it is unsigned.

Purchased in 2010 under the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Collecting Cultures scheme.
