Dreaming

Dreaming is a re-performance which was enacted by the artist in the Centre of Contemporary Art in Toruń (21.11.2014). This action directly referred to and repeated the performance of Natalia LL in the course of which she slept in a gallery for a few hours during the vernissage in the Permafo Gallery in Wrocław (1979). Radziszewski carries out a specific remake of Natalia LL' s gesture, treating it as corporeal traces of “living” archival materials. While repeating the performance, he acts under a glass capsule, which is an exact copy of the one used by Natalia LL in Wrocław, and wears the same outfit: he lies on an orange blanket, dressed in a clean cut white robe, colourful socks and with a wreath of flowers around his head.
