Gray silk jacquard floor-length dress with v-neckline. Fitted construction through the hips and voluminous skirt. Fabric printed with mirror images of the Virgin Mary, angels, wings, birds, and drapery from Hugo van der Goes’ Portinari Triptych (c.1479). The dress also incorporates a white supplementary weft patterning that produces a ghost-like image of pelvic bones on the front and back of the dress.
