Historic Royal Palaces
United Kingdom

This dress may have been worn by Queen Victoria. It is made of a silk satin with embroidered panels of silk flowers accented with silver thread, which has since tarnished. The bertha, lace around the neckline, currently on the dress is not original but is made of lace from the correct time and is meant to represent a lace bertha that was on the original dress.
