Dress fabric of brocaded silk, woven in two shades of blue satin with gold stripes. The stripe pattern is one narrow, one broad, two narrow, one broad, one narrow. This sequence is then repeated so that there are two repeats in the width of the material. The two broad stripes contain different decoration. The first is a highly stylised flower on a chevron ground with a zig-zag edge. The second is a thick wavy stem with formal decoration.
