This blue Chanel dress is made of wool bouclé. The jacket's collar and cuffs are made from white cotton batiste. The collar is decorated with a white cloth flower. The wool shell is quilted to the thin silk lining; Quilting helps the garment maintain its shape. This technique also makes the garment comfortable to wear and the quilting technique was characteristic for Chanel.
