The Summer of Jane and Cinderella collection
Giorgio di Sant'Angelo was known for his successful translations of the relaxed, mix-and-match look of early 1970s street wear into high fashion, epitomized in this "Cinderella" dress. Although designed for Sant'Angelo's upscale line, the dress has an unlined chamois bodice and a skirt constructed from ripped "rags" of floral print chiffon. The effect is surprisingly pretty and imaginative, intended for the wealthy woman on the cutting-edge of fashion.
