Dress

Party dress in beige silk gauze. Long, with a round neck , long narrow sleeves slightly gathered at the top, waist seam and full skirt , triple and layered. It is decorated with a wide horizontal tuck under the bust line and an application of wide nylon machine lace at the neckline, armholes, cuffs and hem. It also has a salmon pink silk ribbon appliqué at the neck and waist . Over the waist at the back there are two bows in line which fall free over the skirt. The centre back fastening is a row of twenty three covered buttons and button loops in the same fabric and there are four buttons on each cuff. On the inside there is a matching grosgrain ribbon waistband which fastens with two hooks.
