Duchess Maria Luigia's bedroom

In a gilded leaf wood frame. Among the paintings hanging on the wall above the Duchess' bed are the two small portraits of Neipperg's children, that are preserved in the Museum. The dating of the watercolor to the years preceding the renovation of the Ducal Palace by Nicola Bettoli and Paolo Gazola (1833-35) is plausible by the lack of any comparison between the furniture and furnishings reproduced with the new ones made in 1834.
