In painting, there is a large piece of green paper and many pieces are peeled off in the shape of a Post-it. The Post-it type images started as flat 2D objects. It wasn’t until they were peeled off the canvas and then stuck onto the back of the duck that they became an illusion of image having a 3D nature. The blindfolded duck is painted on the same paper that the pieces are peeled from. It shows us that a 2D object can become a 3D object on the same canvas depending on the situation or its roll and vice versa.
