The dugong (Dugong dugon), a species of marine mammals, is largely dependent on seagrass for subsistence. They are usually spotted in coastal habitats which support seagrass meadows. One such area is the Hat Chao Mai National Park and Mu Ko Libong islands, an ASEAN Heritage Park in Thailand.
