The Dusky Langur (Trachypithecus obscurus) is also called the spectacled langur due to white patches around their eyes, making them seem like they are wearing eyeglasses. Young dusky langurs are bright orange, eventually shedding and growing black-greyish hair. These diurnal species prefer to live in closed primary forests, but have also been spotted in secondary forests, plantations, and urban areas. The dusky langur is classified as Endangered in the IUCN Red List and are endemic to Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
