Chrysiridia Ripheus – Madagascar. Lepidoptera Uraniidae. Also called Urania of Madagascar. It flies by day and is considered one of the most beautiful Lepidoptera thanks to its wonderful iridescent colours. It lives in Madagascar, but some similar species are also found in East Africa.
