The Resurrection of Jesus

In the center of the composition is the representation of Jesus Christ with a red cloak, surrounded with light bordered by clouds, rising victoriously from the grave, blessing and wearing a banner of victory. The soldiers guarding the grave are depicted some of them sleeping, another one watching, and a shepherd is wonder-struck witnessing the scene (painted in a Catholic manner).
